Question to all 2017/2018 E class owner
Hey guys,
There is a rectangular area on my 2018 E300 rear windshield that cannot be fully defrosted, as can be seen on attached photos.
I had spoken to my dealership regarding this issue, and they had told me that a lot of 2018 E-class have this issue. MB had moved all "aerial" parts such as radio and antenna that kind of stuff to that area, so that heating elements cannot heat up the whole rear windshield resulting in this issue.
This does not make sense to me at all. I had driven, Nissan, Acura, Honda, Toyota, Benz 2012 C-class, 2018 GLC, and now 2018 E-class, I had never seen any rear windshield being unable to thoroughly defrost like mine.
Any E-class owner had encountered this issue?
Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure if it's really of any help, but I haven't noticed this on my E. Granted mine is usually garaged and there are only a handful of occasions in the month or so I've had it that the rear was left snowed caked. It wouldn't bother me too much personally if it was the case. Just a little annoyance. The not-knowing would probably be the worst part.
