MB Rust Warranty very short
Is rust an issue with MB cars?
On the 208 CLK forum there is a thread re rust around the trunk door handle on a two year old CLK.

MB RUST warranty is LESS than luxury car competition:
MB has only a 4 year/50,000 miles RUST warranty.
Porsche: 10 years/unlimited miles.
Infinity: 7 years/unlimited miles.
Jaguar: 6 years/unlimited miles.
Lexus: 6 years/unlimited miles.
BMW: 6 years/unlimited miles.
Audi: 5 years/inlimited miles.

. All MBs sold in Sweden (where rust is a concern) are sold with a 30 year/unlimited miles rust warranty.
