Acoustic Locking System (Faint Noise)
Hope you guys are well and keeping safe.
Recently I've noticed that once I lock my vehicle (C-300 - W205) the locking sound over time has become very faint. It used to be quite prominent and loud a while back.
I thought it was my horns so I replaced both of them and still this faint locking sound was there upon locking.
Is there a different horn/siren for the locking acoustics and is is associated with the panic button alarm? If so does any one know the location so maybe I can replace that.
I had read somewhere that it could be the battery of my key fob that needs to be changed. I personally don't think that should solve this issue I have been having.
If anyone has any info on this, I would appreciate the response.
