Wood trim restoration
I bought this car in 2018 and the wood trim on the doors and center console has been a little bit of eyesore ever since. I have found some pieces on eBay but they are just as faded or they are missing the rear shade button. This is the birdseye trim from what i understand. I don't necessarily need the whole set but just to have 3-4 pieces restored. Anyone have any luck with this type of stuff?

Has anyone used a product to refinish these types of trim pieces? My problem is UV damage. My understanding is that new lacquer will need to be applied. Is this a DIY type project? Or should I reach out to specialized companies?
