Tech support software down?

My 02 C320 wagon has been in an independent shop for 3 weeks. They claim MB technical support software is down. Is global? Should I be skeptical?
Thanks

Anybody home? Good thing this isn't a life threatening issue. Thanks fellow MBers.

Mr. Thompson, I sincerely appreciate your comment. As this is my first MB. I'm a little apprehensive. I bought an icarsoft code reader but couldn't translate it into my knowledge of points and condenser technology. She's got 195,000 + miles on her. Figuratively on the edge of my seat.
Thanks again.

My S550 is my 7th one and I currently have 2 (one in the shop) and I wouldn't switch to anything else. It seems with the disrupted supply chain due to this pandemic many car makes are having delays, some lengthy. Good luck.

Update: well after 5 weeks I got the car back. They diagnosed nothing. Said it wasnt "acting up". But somehow the throttle pedal is working and it was stuck in limp mode. So I went through the tcu reset procedure. Now goes into limp mode whenever I shift to park. The obvious next step is carefully ....gently. Break the tamper proof cap on the tranny fill tube. Run a wire in . it's ****ing dry. So I paid $100 for no diagnosis and to not check the tranny fluid. Probably don't have to tell the story of hunting the elusive 236.14. Veins in my neck are bulging while typing. And my turrets is acting up.
