Frustration on R350 AEM installation and complain on MB customer service.
The AEM installation is available on my car (2012 R350 Bluetec) since January of this year. I scheduled an installation appointment with Mercedes-Benz of Austin and brought the car into the shop on 01/28/2022 without being offered a loaner or shuttle service. On 02/01/2022, I was told the AEM service can not be done due to the part shortage and I had to pick the car up on 02/02/2022 without the AEM installation service fulfilled. I scheduled another appointment with Mercedes-Benz of Georgetown on 02/15/2022 and left a message asking the call back to confirm the AEM installation is available. I never got a call back so I called the dealership on 02/15/2022 morning and got someone from the service department confirmed that the AEM service is available. However, when I dropped off my car at the dealership later afternoon, I was told the installation can not be fulfilled due to the part shortage as well. I was offered to either driving the car back or leaving the car at the dealership waiting for parts and I chose the second option. I has yet to hear from the dealership since then.
On 03/28/2022, I called Mercedes-Benz USA customer service at 800-367-6372 to escalate my situation and was told someone will response in 48-72 hours. No one responded. I called them again on 04/11/2022 and get the same response but still no one called me since then.
Anything I can do at this moment? Thanks!
