Need some advice
Am tossing this out to as many Benz forums I can find to see if I can get some advice on how to deal with an issue.
On April 7th this year, I built and ordered a 2022 Metris Cargo. I signed everything I had to sign, and put down a required deposit. Was more than aware of the time frame for new orders. Around Sept 1st, I called the dealer to get a status. I was told my order had "vanished" due to a computer problem at Corporate. Bottom line, I was not getting my van. I was told Corporate was doing nothing about this issue, and was told the dealership would do nothing about this issue. I was told my existing order could not be re-submitted. I could however do a new order, which we did build, and the price went up 5051.00
Will be drafting a letter to the manager of the dealership, and would like to include the fact that I have also sent out letters to regional personnel. Have not been able to find anything on google.
Am looking for recommendations on where to send out as many letters as possible to whatever corporate offices might serve the Boston MA area.
Am also interested to hear if anyone else has heard anything about a "computer issue" that caused new build orders in the system to vanish.

I agree that any letters I send probably will not get me anywhere. But, have been advised should I want to take this issue to the next level, I should have as much proof as possible that I did everything I could to resolve the issue.
And totally agree with "fishy", but would probably use more colorful language.
