Thinking about buying a GLK350

Hello,

I am thinking of buying a MB SUV. Been a DIY car enthusiast for a while but know very little about these. The couple people I have talked to have all told me to stay away from the brand if I plan to fix things myself.

My questions begin with are they within reason to work on for the most part?

What are your thoughts on glk350? Reliable or no?

GLK is a simple car by Mercedes standards. They aren't that hard to work on if you know what you are doing. Aftermarket parts are readily available.

I have had some difficulty finding a particular part for my 2011 GLK350 4Matic. I am looking for the part that the front ambient temperature sensor attaches to. Does anyone know the part number?

What years are better? I know there was an engine change in 2013.

Get as new as you can afford. Try to find a car with a dealer service history and as few owners as possible. Car was updated in 13. So a 13-15 is best.
