My C300 4Matic is being transported from New Jersey to Florida on a car carrier truck. While it is on its way, My Mercedes app reported a front end collision. I called the transport company. He said they may have been loading the car and an abrupt jerk may have set it off. If there is damage, he said their insurance will cover it. We’ve used this company before and they are good. The rep said they ship Mercedes and Bentleys all the time and they are ultra careful. I am optimistic that it is fine.

 

My car arrived safely. The driver said the jolt of loading the car onto the car carrier sets off the sensors.
