2022 GLC Jolt issue during downshift/ High RPM engine running idle

Hello All,I own a 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC300W4 with close to 30,000 miles on it. I am reaching out to discuss a couple of issues I’ve noticed:

Issue 1: Transmission Jolt at Low Speeds

In November 2024, I reported experiencing a jolt during low speeds or when the vehicle downshifts at low speeds.
The dealership informed me that they performed a transmission software update to address the issue.
However, the problem has returned recently, and I am still experiencing the same jolt under similar conditions.

Issue 2: High RPM at Start-Up

When I start the engine and leave the car idle, the RPM is consistently between 1,200 and 1,500.
After 3–5 minutes, the RPM gradually drops to 700–800.
This behavior seems new, as I don’t recall it happening earlier in my ownership of the car.
I am from NYC and we are in winter season so I often let the engine run for about 10 minutes to warm the interior.

please clarify whether the RPM behavior is normal? Additionally, I would appreciate further any leads to Jolt issue so that i can talk to my dealer which i am going next week.

1. Can request for a standstill adaptation next visit
2. Higher RPM at cold start is normal but it shouldn't last 3 minutes
