A/C Auto Blowing Hot Air

2013 SL550 Edition 1 and 2017 GLS 550
A/C Auto Blowing Hot Air
I have a 2017 Mercedes GLS 550. 109k miles.
This has been a fabulous vehicle, but as we all know, maintenance is really expensive.
Today, I started the car and the Automatic Temperature control was already on, but on the drivers side vents, nothing but hot air came out. The passengers’ side blew out cold air.
Never seen or heard of this before.
Any ideas on what might cause this? Thinking a switch someplace, but have no. Idea!
