"Why" is the most important aspect of this. Which ECU/TCU tuner have you used? and why, please.
I have a 2016 AMG GT-S, I plan to keep the cats on it. Looking for best bang for buck, but most importantly, control over being able to (relatively easily) un-flash, re-flash if I have dealer update concerns.

let me start the conversation by saying I have looked over some dyno charts. Besides absolute numbers, I want to see power delivery over a large portion of the rev range.
thinking of a Weistech stage 1 tune and the TCU tune. I like the Wesitech's dyno curve the best, so far, compared to Renntec, Eurocharged. Any others I should consider, based on your experiences? and why?
For your AMG GT-S, Eurocharged or AMR Performance are solid choices both offer easy flash/unflash via handheld tuner for dealer visits. Bang-for-buck? AMR. Better control? Eurocharged (more custom tuning options). Both keep cats intact and let you revert if needed.
AMR, I have not looked into it yet, thanks. BTW: AFAIk, Weistech, at least, also has hand-held device (or your laptop) and can flash back and forth between your stock binary and their tune.
The "custom" aspects of Eurocharged are interesting, I also know they have several brick and mortar shops. I have not looked into the options I could get, thanks. I am not as crazy about their torque curve. tho. They claim it is more within the operating efficiency range of the stocker turbos themselves. I would like to see an adiabatic chart to understand where they are tuning and why. I could ask them, I guess....
