diagnostic analyser

I am trying to find an analyser that I would be able to check errors, SRS ect and that would also give me a coding for any errors, have considered either an iCarsoft V2 or an Autel MaxSys . can we get some opinions on the pros and cons for these units and if there is other analyser that could be also worth considering

For a Mercedes, the iCarsoft MB V2 is the better choice. It's more specialized for Mercedes and can do most of the coding and SRS functions you need. The Autel is more generic and better for multiple brands. The iCarsoft is also simpler to use and more affordable for a DIYer. It won't do everything the dealer STAR system can, but it's the best bang for your buck for home use.

Has the iCarsoft MB V3 make any additional function or advancement above the V2..?

So I am leaning towards the iCarsoft brand. Now I see the iCarsoft Por V4.0 comes with 2 additional car type down loads included. For the extra 100 bucks I think if down load Mercedes Benz, and BMW I could be all set for my future MB GL 450, BMW 740 iL, and Porsche 887 Boxster Garage. Ina dream world I would just plug them in once a week and have the scanner say " all systems report ok as factory intended. Enjoy your drive Sir. " I would say thank you "Mortemer" .....zzzroooom.
