Mercedes C55 Muffler Delete
Hey guys, I have just picked up a c55 and I love it. But it needs more noise. I know guys remove the second cats and resinaters but I'm unsure if I'll go that route. I was wondering if I cut a small hole and stripped both of the insides of the exhausts and welded it back up so it looks stock if that would sound any good? If anyone has done a muffler delete I would love to hear how it went.

Gutting the stock mufflers will sound terrible raspy and drony. For a C55, the best sound comes from removing the secondary cats and resonators, then keeping the stock mufflers. It's the classic combo for more roar without the drone. A full muffler delete is too loud and obnoxious for daily driving.
