2018 , AMG GLC 63 S , unknown power lack 😮
Hi, I had my car serviced 1 year ago in an authorized service place for maintenance and they also did a software upgrade.
The car felt powerless after that , it did have a Stage 1 upgrade on it before but I had plans for going for the Stage 3 upgrade so I went to have it checked up that are all the components in good condition for the coming upgrade.
Anyway so after this service the car felt overly under powered so I went back to complain about it but they didn't find anything wrong whit it , ofcourse they didn't dyno it neither did I, so I thought **** it let's wait for my Stage 3 upgrade and then it gets fixed.
It was a long wait over the winter for the spring finally to come and to get my 5. May ,booked upgrade building started and my desired 800 hp.
Finally the day came and my mechanics could start to change turbos, gas pumps, air intake, programs for engine and gears.To do the Stage 3 Upgrade
But puff.. it didn't work something was hindering the boost pressure, so after months of checking this and that and still not working, we put the original map back and realized that this one gave only 300+ hp not the 510 hp as the original should and something tells the ECU not to give more boost than 0,8 bar when it should be 1.2 bars...we took it back to the brand maintenance shop to have them to check it again what's up, they changed the boost solenoid but the boost pressure still didn't return, now we are waiting to get the software upgrade done again to see if that would fix the original problem before we can continue. But there is no guarantee that it will solve the problem still.
So if anybody has an idea what the f*** is going on please share some light.
I'we used the Chat GPT like a mother f*** and got all kinds of suggestions but so far we are still in the dark.

does your vehicle have active exhaust flaps? On C 63 and E 63 platforms with your same engine people lost their power with malfunctions in the exhaust flaps, well documented in those forums
