I was just looking at the classified section on MBWorld (Not the forum), and noticed that somebody is selling Hitlers Mercedes-Benz.

Well, that is pretty funny, because the United States troops shot up Hitlers MB after the war and turned it into scraps, in resemblence of the defeat of Germany.

This guy is obviously BS'ing... and he is selling it for 12,425.

It is nonsense. During the travelling carnival's heyday in the 1950s and 1960s in the USA, a popular sideshow attraction was Hitler's car. Obviously, any legitimate claim to that particular bit of history would probably be in a museum. I pity the sucker who falls for that one, then again, maybe not.

I am sure that Hitler hasn't driven/been driven in in just one single car during his lifetime. It's a 1927 car, so it's not the famous 770, which you are most likely talking about.
For example Eva Braun's 540K is alive and in some private collection as far as I remember.
However this is theory, I'm sure the car advertised will have no papers to support its' previous ownership.
