That would be the Bluetooth "puck" so you can use the hands free option to make/receive calls. It's available through MB dealers for about $420 or you can usually find them on eBay for about $350.

Ha! Well, have yourself a Labatt's and some pea meal bacon, maybe curds and chips, and keep the steering wheel straight!

(Ugh, Labatt's and back bacon - how would that burp? Yech!)

That would be the Bluetooth handsfree module and three Canadian dollars (Loonies) sitting in the coin holder.

For those who wonder, that's the world-famous Camelback Mountain in the foreground.

That photo of Camelback Mountain rang a bell. This is a sunrise looking across Lake Firebird, where I will be Nov 15 - 18. I love the sunrises and sunsets in Phoenix.

Will you be above or below the water? I hear the submarine races are a lot of fun there.

I have an aunt whose first visit to Phoenix was my wedding in 1989. She said to me, "I always thought they were making up those colors in the paintings!" Nope. Then I told her to ask about the jackalopes on her tour of the Apache Trail. Apparantly I'm no longer in the will.

DOH! Like I said, I knew it would be obvious... You Canadians are lucky enough to have a coin holder? All my change rolls around in the center console.

Aww, now you're just showing off the exchange rate between the US and Canadian dollar.

More than likely, both above and under the water as a rescue diver. I am the IHBA National Rescue Coordinator, and Firebird is where our finals are held each year. It is also our season opener in the spring.

I grew up in west Texas and I know all about those jackalopes.

Isn't that the bluetooth module for the phone?

Yes, it's the Bluetooth module. Photos taken on somewhat of an unusual angle.

The term "coin holder" is exaggerated...I think it holds 3 coins (just like the picture Reach West has posted. I guess those who drive MB's don't have a lot of loose change or something. Go take a look at yours...it's just 3 small slits cut into the lower part of the center console. I have an '07 450 and it's there on mine.

Oh geez, another DOH moment. In my 9 months of owning my GL, I have never noticed that. I guess probably because it only holds 3 coins...

Is it just me or has the center console changed in 08? In my 07, I have two consoles. A small upper one that holds the BT puck and has the "i" and wrench buttons. Then there is a deeper console below which has the slots that allegedly are coin holders. It looks like in 08, from RW's pic, that there is only console. Is that a Canadien thing too?

It's not just you. My 07 has two consoles as well. Yup, the "coin holder" (which I just discovered today) is in the lower one.

Very easy to miss! I didn't know what it was at first, the somebody on this board mentioned a coin holder & I went back to search it out. I use the rubber lined drawer in the dash to hold my change.

Yup. I wouldn't have known if my MB rep hadn't told me. (Just like how she didn't show me the "coin holder" either)

Snow... Are You Kidding Me?

Okay... I'm just catching up on the board and about fell out my chair with NJ's snow posting and Steve's follow-up "frost on the grass" post.

Let me show you what a real snow storm is supposed to look like. All the pictures are from last Christmas.

1. My 8-year old trying to get into the backyard from our patio.
2. Here she is standing on the patio.
3. Do you think the 295's on my GL will make it up the drive?

Stick with the sunrise/sunset shots Steve. I've got the snow covered.

Forget the GL 295's getting up the driveway...LOL You need a half track. Geeze Brian, how do you manage in that kind of snow?

I'll take the LV snowfall anytime...:-)
