Okay... I'm just catching up on the board and about fell out my chair with NJ's snow posting and Steve's follow-up "frost on the grass" post.
Let me show you what a real snow storm is supposed to look like. All the pictures are from last Christmas.
1. My 8-year old trying to get into the backyard from our patio.
2. Here she is standing on the patio.
3. Do you think the 295's on my GL will make it up the drive?
Stick with the sunrise/sunset shots Steve. I've got the snow covered.
Let me show you what a real snow storm is supposed to look like. All the pictures are from last Christmas.

Brrrr.....Stumble, you gotta be careful before posting shots like those. I get cold just looking at those.
And about the tires you need to get up that driveway....WHERE IS THE DRIVEWAY? How do you see it below those montains of snow?

That's my little mountain girl and like Steve-the-Pilot said, she certainly can be a snow bunny too.
Just a little trickery with the camera Nish. The entrance to the drive is actually to the left and just out of the frame. What you see is just some of the pile up from the snow thrower. Like to make it look as bad as possible.
Ice storms are the worst. We're so lucky that we don't get those in the mountains. Just nice fluffy white stuff.
Tell your girls they can come out anytime and we'll take them to some great stashes of powder where they can ski their hearts out.

NJ: Great shots - fabulous scenery and the subject is looking very sharp too! (Love those 21 inch wheels, the front grille and the extra chrome the 550 incorporates)

Thanks and the shot of yours is a great one. I know the location you shot it from. When there are heavy clouds, the results can really be satisfying.

Beautiful. I've been to Vegas once, and Red Rock and Hoover Dam were by far my favorite sights in the area.
