X164 GL-Class Unofficial Picture Thread
Sorry Jack, I'm sincerely jealous. I should change my signature to being a 2007 GL450 with Macadamia leather interior and Sodium Chloride exterior.
If you note in the picture above the front rims are a little darker than the rear ones...yep, break dust on my GL. Also the dust is layered so evenly here that the entire car gets a nice dust coat. So when I take the pics and raise the black point some, it does not show the dust. Rain spots are never really a problem here. A little extra sharpening and contrast also does wonders...like the old saying goes -- a new coat of paint (or in this case Photoshop) covers a lot of sins...:-)

Wow - thanks for sharing those wonderful pics. Here in Ohio we were just hammered with a 20" snow storm that shattered the previous record set in 1910. Those blossoms are a sight for sore eyes (and that 550's a beaut, too.) My own (much filthier) GL did get around quite nicely in the snow, though.
I remember living in NJ and having 27" in 24 hours and in MD having over 2 feet also...but I didn't have a GL to plow through it...:-)
But in the desert (AR or NV) the biggest problem is dust. But I am quite pleased with the black GL here. It has not really been a problem keeping it looking nice.
Shot it a couple of weeks ago on a kind of cold day.
When we were at Red Rock with the GL, Allen & I both commented about how nice of a ride on the Harley's that would be. We're riding the bikes to Williams, AZ in May, but we may have to try & sneak in a bike trip to Vegas before the year is out.
Whatever! Sheesh. Some friends you turned out to be! Fine, go enjoy the nice weather up in Williams and ignore our 100-degree temperatures. You know, depending on the days, I have half a mind to come up there and tell you how I feel about it. (If I had half a mind, I'd be dangerous!)
Seriously, what days have you planned to be in Williams?

I'd definately like to come up and check out the bikes, etc. Barb loves Williams, it reminds her of the Scottsdale area 30 years ago when it was a cow town and not part of the wealth capital of the world.
