Hi, everyone:

I was wondering if anyone has seen chrome fins that will fit on the black plastic vents on the GL's hood near the base of the windshield. I know they exist for the SLK, and they look very nice, but these won't fit the GL. Thanks in advance.

It's an accessory, I added it recently. I don't remember the part number, but I do recall the package had an ML label on it.

Thanks for sharing this link. I am interested too in getting these bling accessories. Can anyboby share the installation procedure for the chrome door handle? Do you just peel and glue it behind the handle? Thanks.

The chrome door handle is very easy to install. Do not peel the back tape off. The trick is to just peel back about half inch from one corner and fold it so that it overlaps on the outside edge. Lock the doors then pull on handle and insert the chrome piece. After it is in, release the handle and make sure it's position right (pull and release on the handle and make sure it's free). When it's ok, hold it firm pull on the piece of back tape and it will stick right on.
It's very easy, mine took about 15 minutes to install.
Forgot to mention that I used alcohol wipes to clean the area where the chrome will stick on.

I've added both the door inserts and the chrome fins. Very simple to install. Almost mistake proof. Really adds to the vehicle.
