I am wondering everytime at night when the fog lights are off and I turn my sterring wheel to one side that side only the fog light turns ON and then turns off once I turn the wheel to the other side and this happens on both side. This the first time I have every seen this. My GL 450 light package so I dont now if it has anything to do with this option.

It should be the cornering light option of a bi-xenon equipment.
The cornering light function uses the left or right fog lamp at junctions or bends to illuminate a wider area.

Fog lights also light up when turn signal is engaged

The lights also turn from side to side.... but you probably knew that.

you can turn it off by using your steering wheel control buttons. IMHO, it looks very odd expicially at a signal light at night

Thanks for the info, I never knew this and owning prevoise MB I never experaince this before. To me it looks like one side is working and the other is not but hey if this helps illuminate the corners better why not.
