Is there anyone who has the roof mount bike rack on the the GL450. I recently removed mine due to high pitch whistle.

Depends where I'm going.

I used to have a roof mount rack on a different car. Unfortunately, whistling and wind noise in general is the norm for any roof rack. I have a Yakima hitch mounted rack that's completely silent.
