Hey all,
Just paid the deposit on my GL450. It'll be here in February 2007. Since it;s manufactured in the US, it has to be shipped to Germany first to go through some specification changes for SEAsia, before it gets shipped to Laos, via Bangkok. I can't wait. I finally made all my final decisions, thanks in a large part to this forum. Thanks all. Well, here are the specs:
>Obsidian Black Metallic
>Black Nappa Leather
>Running Boards
>20" inch Porrina rims
>Chrome package - with stainless steel underride (front, back), crossbars in chrome and roof rails in chrome
>Comand APS with DVD navigation, wih 6 disc changer (MP3 compatible)
>Wood leather multi function steering wheel
>Parktronic
and all other good stuff.
I'll have the first GL class in the whole country. At least that's what the Mercedes dealer is telling me. I'll be sure to post the pics when it arrives.

Did you get the Xenon lights now? That is key to a classy SUV.

Do the Xenon lights affect the exterior look of the ride? How does it look different? Are there any posts with pics showing the difference between the two?

The xenon lights are brighter and much better for night time driving. They dont change the appearance of the car at all. Its just much better than the regular Halogen lights.

At least in the US, ordering Xenon will also get you the chrome fog light surrounds; so in that manner it does look a little different.

Ordering bi xenons from my dealer will cost around $2000+, is that about how much it costs in the states? You'd try to avoid as many unneeded expenses as possible if you knew how much I was paying here after taxes and all.

Just order it from the factory. Prices will be different for all regions of the world and specific country.

vsengdara, I highly suggest you to change your order to add the bi-xenon lights.
