GL320 CDI Pricing
My dealer has informed me that there is some word "leaking" that the price may be less than the 450...any others of you hearing anything? Based on European countries that have both models, as i think someone else pointed out, there is about a 17% discount to the diesel from the gas, which would be awesome...
Of course, the dealer put a disclaimer on it and says nothing has been officially set.

I have been wondering the same thing. I have placed on order for a GL320 CDI, and made some pricing agreements with the dealer for a certain amount of discount from MSRP. So, if the MSRP is lower that would be terrific.
I am not sure when DC will be releasing the pricing, but my dealer seems to think that it will be sometime in December.

If your state does not put an extra tax etc. on the diesel then the similar price ratio should also apply to the U.S.

It only makes sense that it would be less expensive. Just compare the base price of the ML320CDI and the ML500...a 6-cylinder diesel and a 8-cylinder gas. The ML320CDI base is $44,455, and the ML500 base is $49,975.
