2007 GL320 CDI, 2001 TJ Rockcrawler, 2005 Scoobie STI
1/4 mile wise, I am not sure, but 0-100 KPH or 0-62 MPH is supposed to be about 9.5 seconds.
Not a rocket ship by any means, but the reviews have indicated that even though it is slower than the gas engine to 60, it feels faster because of the torque availability at low RPM.
With the gas engine, you have to wait until the revs get up there before the power really comes on. The diesel runs more like an electric motor. Push the accelerator and the power is available NOW.
I have driven the ML 320 CDI and I really like this motor.
