I have just purchased 19in Wheels and tires for dirt cheap $1000 from eBay, seems like the TPMS does not come with the set. Does anyone know if I can use the TPMS that is already installed on the OEM 18in tires/wheels on my car?

Your GL probably has a passive system without actual sensors. If it has actual sensors then they will fit on Mercedes or AMG wheels only. They fit some aftermarket wheels.

 

I went to aftermarket 20" rims on my R Class, and reused the original TPMS that came with the original rims without issue

 

thank you for the replys. I will use the oem tpms and put them to this set. I purchased the oem 19 inc wheels with the 4x4 conti wheels for $1000. if any one interested you can find another set in eBay
