I'm off to the dealer now to pick up my GL320...then the wife and I are off to the NC beach for a relaxing weekend...perfect opportunity to give it some legs and a break-in (not at a CONSTANT speed)...

Jack, I specifically told the dealer to quadruple check my intercooler hoses and clamps, which they assure me they will do-good luck in getting an answer back today.

I will try to post a pic upon my return Monday...

I have had nothing but positive experiences so far...got about 650 miles on it, first tank average (cty/hwy) of about 22mpg...hoping that rises.

NO HOSE ISSUES AS OF YET (my fingers and toes are all crossed as i type)...
Especially love the Keyless GO system.

My Treo is not syncing with my bluetooth (it syncs in my fathers ML diesel, so i'm not sure why)...bought the all-weather mats but may also get the all-season ones.

After picking up my dad's in October with Tex, my leather smells AWESOME...also love the Appearance package.

I'll post more pics as soon as i take some better ones.

Pics will follow when the rain quits around here. Interestingly enough, the Ipod kit is on the sticker but did not show up on the car-so tomorrow the dealer is installing it (obviously at no charge to me). Don't know what happened.

I had dealer install my iPod kit too. Just check it when done to make sure the cable is long enough. My first time, they concealed too much cable and it was almost impossible to plug in the iPod. Had to take it back and they just pulled some cable out.

Tag on Distronic and take off hitch, appearance, seats, and, 3 zone. That would give you mine. And I love every single inch of it

About the same stuff, minus the RSE and hitch, plus Distronic and Illumintated Entry...better package than the PE I think...

I thought with the RSE that you could not get the iPod kit integrated with the system?

Not sure where you heard that but that is not the case for factory installed RSE. I believe aftermarket RSEs make use of the aux jack in the Glove compartment which then won't allow an iPod kit. But that is most certainly not the case with the factory installs.

I agree. The biggest appeal to me in PE was the Nappa leather.

Typical MBUSA web site short-comings. Whether the asterick is accurate or not I don't know...perhaps if someone has both installed from the factory they could post that information.
