If the date was given to by the dealer from the NetStar computer then what he gave you is the final day of production, meaning tomorrow it will be complete. Most likely this the case. You're vehicle was probably started late yesterday or maybe even today. It takes some time to build these vehicles from the time it all begins. I think the longest time is waiting for the paint to dry in the racks.

I've seen the production line so I'm familiar with how it works.

Congrats!

Mine can in yesterday and we picked it up last night. Love it, the only thing that seems to be a problem is the drivers side mirror. It doesnt look quite right for some reason. I will post some pics when I get the chance.

Very nice indeed...looks great.

I note in the pics at the dealer the chrome strip is not on the rear bumper sill but the at home shots it is installed. Did you do that or did the dealer and if the dealer did it what is the part #?

I ordered it from Mercedes of Eugene Oregon. I think it was about $169. I put it on once I got it home. I will have to see if I still have the part number, I got the info off these forums.

Maybe we should start calling you Hawkeye Nevada Black Jack (HeNBJ)? That was a great catch.

Thanks for the information. Is this the piece that has the clips on it and you have to break them off and then apply the double sided tape routine described in an earlier thread?
