Heard the problems with the LR/RR division are innumerable. More so, the gas mileage is abysmal. Regardless, I would love to do a Range Rover Supercharged but we need a 7 seater only...ahh I'll let you guys know how I made on the pricing and get your opinions of it...
Just curious, what are we looking at here, I'm getting a 18K check from the insurance company and we plan to drop another 5K so 20-23K down on a GL450 with RSE, Premium 1, Sunroof Package, HID, RearView Camera, Multi-Contour Seats (MSRP'd at 67K)...
More so, guys, real important, is it an option in the GL450 to have the ability to adjust the ride height of the SUV (lowering and raising) or is it standard? If it's not standard, is it that ADS system or whatever (might have the wrong acronym)?

If you are buying off the lot then you should be able to get at least invoice especially if you have multiple dealers around you and can play them.
GL does adjust it's height to keep itself level. There is a standard option that allows you to raise the height an extra 3 inches. But it only works at low speeds and car automatically rises if your speed goes above 40 (I think). If you get OffRoad package, which adds ADS, then you can raise the height further (I think 9 inches more, but not sure). I am not sure if ADS allows your height to stay raised or does it drop also if you go over 40.

Executive Demo with 687 miles and the following options:
Verde Brook Exterior (AWESOME!!)
Macadamia Interior
Rear Seat Entertainment
Premium Package
Lighting Package
Appearance Package
RearView BackUp
Sunroof Package
Heating Package
MSRP - 68K, being offered at 64K even. How does this sound? Supposedly, the invoice is $63495. I put a deposit on this to secure it as we will going back Monday to see whats what with the family and friends program

Ahem, the most important option is the DIESEL ENGINE. Not only do you get much much better mileage, fuel is cheaper, better for the environment, but it's also $1,000 cheaper on the list price...

True, but the diesel is not available in some states, such as California, Maine, Mass., New York & Vermont because it does not meet emission standards (according to MB's web site).

I completely agree. Many of the items on P1 came standard on my Expedition (Eddie Bauer edition) and I was suprised that these items (i.e. power seats w/memory) were not standard on the MB.
I do like my sunroof; haven't had one since my 1992 Accord so I'm really enjoying it.
