Lease question - what real-world numbers are out now?

I'm considering the GL450 as a tow vehicle (or the Yukon Denali or Cayenne S, but the GL has the longest wheelbase) and it seems the leases are really not great at all - quite poor currently. I'm hoping that perhaps when the GL550 comes out MB will want to move the lesser vehicles and deal hard on them.

What are some of the better lease deals being had out there in the last few months? Anyone? Feel free to PM me if you don't want to share publicly...

lease numbers

I just ordered a GL320 and I agree that the lease deals from MB aren't all that great. I plugged in the numbers on leasecompare.com and got much better results. Dealer promised to go thru that with me when the car comes in. Haven't used leasecompare before, so don't have any more info.

My dealer agreed to meet the US Bank lease quote - they did it by increasing the residual value w/ a higher money factor. I wasn't planning on buying the vehicle at the end of the lease, so I didn't really care.

You need to negotiate the best purchase price - never mention if you are paying cash, or financing; then once you have the purchase price negotiated you can start the lease negotiation.

Lease deals are generally on stock vehicles w/ lower mileage.

Lease deals are tough to compare month to month because of dropping residuals vs monthly residuals being altered. Don't know if you live in a state that offers tax credits, but do what abscam said. negotiate the price first, then the lease #'s.
