The BBQ Meet!
The wine snobs we're looking at me like "Puuuuleaaase".
I must say, there is nothing quote like having a really nice full rack of good ribs (nowhere near as good as what you'll be having next week) with an ice cold brew while temps hover in the low 80s.
Oh... by the way... the 14 thousand foot peaks don't hurt either in the scenery department.
Have a great time next week. Even after finishing off every finger lickin' good bite tonight, I still have a hankering

) on me for all the BS you tolderated with your 320. You darn well better make it! PM sent.
By the way, interesting stuff about the CAT diesel this motorhome has in it ... I'll post more when I get home.
There was only one GL, mine - oknish's was back in CA. AutoSaurus didn't make it, family obligations, but even if he had, there still would have been only one GL. We forgot our camera so there are no pictures.
It is hard to take a picture of a GL in front of the Rendezvous because it's in an alley. Pictures would have been of a GL in a parking garage, and I bet you've all seen those. The ribs were disappointing to me. Nish didn't seem to mind - he cleaned every bone! That's where the people come in... Nish has a beautiful family - a lovely wife and two of the cutest kids you'll ever see. Nish and I kept the conversation GL - the wives talked all things non-GL. Sure enough, Nish's son wanted to know where my TV's were!
We went over to the Peabody so the kids could see the ducks walk from the fountain to the elevator for their ride to their rooftop penthouse. (That's a Memphis tradition - my wife sat on the floor and watched them when she was 4.) Then, a taste of CA for our visitors - a wreck on the freeway on the way to the airport; traffic at a crawl for 1.5 miles. They were not so homesick for LA any more.

So, not a lot to report - except that I really enjoyed meeting Nish and his family. In that regard, it was a great meet!
Peabody ducks and the taste of LA traffic were the dessert of the meet. So, a fun time was had by all. And, yes, I did think of each and everyone of you while I was enjoying the ribs
