GL320 - Questions?
3 zone climate control
sunroof package
keyless go
power rear gate
mb tex
Also, has anyone ordered one with mb tex and did not take delivery because of the mb tex?
I am really trying to convince my wife this is the right car for her however she thinks our children are still to young (3 and 5) and will tear it up.
Anymore issues with the q3 hose?
What real world mileage are people getting? Around town and on the highway?

Mine came with MB Tex. I was at one point thinking of selling mine in California (now that it's over 7500 miles) and getting Nevada Jack's that he decided against in Denver, and one of the things that actually put me off a bit is that he got the leather. The MB Tex is really nice stuff and (IMHO) easier to care for than the leather, as well as being in some cases more durable.
I have a Q2 hose which was installed under specific directions from MB and haven't had an issue with it since. I haven't heard of a single Q3 hose issue yet, and there may well be a Q4 hose out there. (Anyone?)
I'm getting an average of just over 20mpg in mixed driving (though a lot more of it is city now than highway and me driving like a ****). I was getting the same on Interstate 8 between Yuma and Gila Bend at ... well, shall we say, under triple digits on the speedo. And the beastie was as solid as a flippin' rock. The kids kept asking why we were going so slowly. We had four 10 pound dogs and a weekend's worth of clothing (my daughter's 14 so you do the math) as well as fuel, so the weight was up there.
Now, last thing; IMHO (again), I would skip the Keyless Go. Besides the opening-the-door-by-just-touching-the-handle thing, the car starts the same way. Turn the key to "on," wait for the coil light to go out, and tap it to start, and it self-starts every time, no worries. I dunno - just seems like something else that can go wrong.
Good luck, and don't hesitate to ask any other questions you have! You can see I love talking!
