New 2008 colors, and steering wheel revisited

Has anyone seen Sand Beige (apparently replacing Desert Silver) or Jade Green on another Benz model? I was able to find a few pics of Jade Green on an E-class. In the pictures it looks attractive but fairly dark (we would like a medium or lightish color).

As far as the steering wheel, we need to choose between wood/leather and heated leather (Macadamia). I did a search and found the comments to be helpful, but I am still undecided. We live in NC, where the heated wheel would only come into play for a couple of months out of the year. However, as nice as the wood wheel looked, it did not feel that great during my short test drive (the wood is right where I grip). I guess my bottom line question is: does anyone who has the wood/leather wheel really wish they had the heated leather wheel instead?

I am happy with the wood/leather wheel. I live in CA so cold weather is not an issue.

I agree since I live in CA too so heated wheel was not really needed.

The thing I like about the wood wheel is on long drives, I alternate holding leather and wood and that reduces fatigue in my hands. But then again that's just me

I have seen a Jade Green E-Class in person. It's a pretty color, but it is quite dark. Really more of a Hunter Green if that helps.

Concerning Sand Beige. Look in the small 2008 C-class brochure "C what a drive can be." to see a picture of the C luxury sedan on the last foldout that is Sand Beige. Not a good picture because it was taken at night under lights.
