My 550 Verde/Mac will be built in 9 days. I'm counting the hours. My comment is on the dealer org. My wife drives a Lexus LX470...The dealer from the getgo treated me/us as if we were the last customers on earth. I went to 3 MB dealers before settling on the 4th because I just wouldn't give the first 3 my 80K. Ranging from stupidity ( not knowing how to use the computer ) to snobbery ( refusing to return my calls ) The 3rd dealer was a huge dealer in CT that treated me as if I was there to buy a roll of TP

MB dealers can be really snooty.. annoying when it's us buttering their bread.. Thankfully, my salesperson has been reasonable

congrats on your soon to have gl550. i want one too for my wife & family vehicle but after having a bmw x5 4.6is with 20 inch wheels that was useless in the snow, the deal breaker is the standard 21 inch wheels.if only it came with 19"s! the dealers tell me there is no delete option.
anyway, i am curious about the specific 4 m-b dealerships that you went to and any particular sales people that you would reccommend or not.

I don't know if you are willing to look out of state (i.e., NC), but you'd have a hard time beating the sales associate I worked with as far as pricing and responsiveness:
