Transmission question......MB's Answer!

Well......here's MB's answer to the question in my previous post:

"Your cars don't have that.......the literature and the website are wrong and we will be correcting both"

1. I appreciate the fact that they did in deed get back to me with what appears to be an honest admission of an error.

2. Seems interesting that the error has been there since the first publication of the brochure on the GL and on the website for well over a year......maybe they should have the chief engineer for the vehicle line proof read that stuff. Granted that's pretty extreme BUT this IS Mercedes and we are all paying the bucks for "quality and perfection" right?

Best response ever from MB...now all they have to do is use that as the model for proper and good customer service.

Glad we got to the bottom of that one....:-)
