MB all weather mats?? Help Needed!
Just got back and found my all weather MB mats in black at the door..
shipped to me from my dealer ..
Once I opened them I found them to be covered with A white sandy chauky film??
I tried washing them with the hose and still some marks and residue appear? and wiping them just continues to release,, like a sandy rubbery residue...
I must say this does not appear to be MB standards!!
I have the MB all weather mats in tan for my wifes S class as well with no such problem?
could these be a defect?
could it be due to them being black in color?
or is it that the quality level for the S class is higher then the GL??
Any body else experience this??

I have the all season mats in black and they did not and continue not to have any type of chalky residue on them. They actually were pretty darn clean when I got them. The only thing I really do to clean them is shake them out and wipe them with a damp cloth. Mine pretty much look new after six months. I would get a replacement set.

I will be calling the dealer to see about a exchange!
