Friday my wife and kids drove from Dallas to FT worth to see my inlaws and when we arrived, my wife noticed that the passanger rim was 1/2 bent from the wheel and the 2 tires on the pass side had huge bubbles in it. I called the local benz dealership in Ft worth (Park Place) and dropped it off. I just picked up the truck and the Wheel and Tire Warranty covered $1500 dollars. I was only left with $75 to re-set the tire sensors. Spend the $375 it is well worth it!!!!

The 450 only has 3,000 miles

 

May I ask who is your dealer? Perhaps they would be willing to sell me coverage on my 550. For some reason my dealer has no idea about this insurance.

 

Most MB dealers have all these services and push them in the Finance Office when you close the deal and sign the papers. I am sure you could call another dealer close to you and get the coverage...I am really surprised that your dealer is unfamiliar with this coverage.

 

I was also surprised, but the upside is that the finance manager did not try to sell us anything at all when we handed over the check.

 

The wheel and tire warranty was the only "add-on" I opted for. I had to hear it from 3 management types that my Brabus wheels would be covered, but once I did - I considered it a good investment.
