Oil Change?

Oil Change?
I did a search, but wasnt able to find any info...
I've always done my own maintenance on my cars, and with around 6K on the clock on my wife's GL450, I was planning on doing an oil change this weekend, so I was wondering if anyone's done it and if this was gonna be a "normal" oil change or if I need to pump it out from the dipstick tube (like my wife's C32 AMG).
Anyway, any tips appreciated.
Thanks

It's easy
Just did my first oil change on the GL450 and it was very easy.
The filter is on top, under the big plastic top cover for the engine (lift directly up to remove). Removing the filter was pretty simple with a strap wrench. Sucking the 9 qts of oil out via the dipstick tube was easy *if* you are using a powered pump... otherwise it may take a while with the top sider. Overall, it took about 30 mins including clean up.

I've been doing my own for the last 20 years, but I think I'm gonna leave it to MB to do it on my diesel. If there's ever an issue, its documented, PLUS I've noticed that when reselling, MB stamped maintenance documents seem to have a bearing on the sale.
