First Problem

I noted during the trip that my left hand side view mirror was not folding in when I locked the car. I think someone else reported this. So next week I will call FJ and make an appointment to have it looked at. Will report back when I have some answers.

Happened to me, NJ and, apparently is a known issue with motor. There is a TSB on lubrication of these mirrors so make sure they do that as well.

had the same problem on our GL320.. I changed the program so mirrors don't have to fold when locked. I think all that movement on these mechanisms can't be good. Mirrors are working fine now..they were sticking but now seem to work well.

Cancelled that program on mine as well...........particularly since I could not come up with a benefit to having the mirrors fold when the vehicle locks Now I do like to fold 'em up when going to a car wash or situations that I know are going to be a "tight squeez"

I had a problem on mine (lol) too. BUT, when the left mirror unfolded, the mirror itself did not return to its original spot that had been programmed. 1 trip to identify the problem, 1 trip to tell me they ordered the wrong parts, then fixed it on the third trip. Bless MBUSA

That is bull hunkus, bro. Leave the car there till it's fixed right and if they don't give you a loaner, go to the next dealer. I have had mine for almost 1 year and only went back twice for the same issue; once to research and once to fix. Every other time they keep the car and I drive a loaner.
