Detail in Vegas

How did the detail by Bobby work out. Were you all satisfied with the final product and would you recommend him. I understand he is mobile so I may contact him if reports are good.

Just look at the pics from Wordsmith! I personally thought he did a great job, particularly on my chrome wheels.

He did a great job on the exterior; the interior wasn't touched (lots of dog hair in the back), so I can't comment on an interior job.

For the price and convenience, he did do a very good job, IMO.

My receipt said it was an exterior wash only. I don't know that I'd have noticed any more dog hair -- considering the amount I personally live with day to day!

I must say, however, that I wasn't sure whether it was an interior/exterior but I was fine with a very nice hand wash exterior for that price, in Vegas, on a Friday night, for a Mercedes, all things considered.

Thanks for the input...mostly positive and since I would only have the exterior done, I will probably contact him. My next wash at my local hand wash place is free (10th one is always free) but after that one I will let him have a crack at it.

Sorry for the delayed response, but I too was very satisfied with Bobby. As Steve said, for $40 bucks in Vegas on a Friday night in a parking garage, my GL was spotless. That price included the exterior wash, windows, tires and dressing, along with wheels. As nice as it looked on the outside, I can only imagine the job he'd do on the inside.

Be sure you tell him your ol' friend Stumble sent you.

Speaking of big discounts, saw your buddy Greg yesterday when I dropped our GL off for some service. He had just gotten back from Greece, looked great and said "hi". I told him about your road trip to the east coast and that the report was good.

They gave me an R-class for a loaner which was nice, because the dash/command was identical to the GL. It only had 1,000 miles on it which really surprised me. Don't know the engine size, but it certainly felt underpowered, especially compared to the 550.

In September he was going to Hawaii and now Greece...Greg does things right, including serving his customers.
