comfort or sport?

Anyone know the details on which systems are affected by this setting?

Which setting are you?

So far I've mostly left it on comfort....

I leave it on Sport pretty much all the time. I love the firm suspension and less body roll. Maybe on a bumpy road, over a long period of time, I might switch to Comfort.

The manual itself doesn't provide enough details about the settings. To me they are:
Sport - lowers suspension, tighter handling, different transmission shift
points(holds the gear longer, downshifts quicker)
Comfort - normal suspension, comfortable ride, easier transmission shifts.

I wondered of what the third setting was(no indicator lights) and my opinion is a combination of both( Confort/ride and Sport/transmission). I could be wrong.

For me, when the family is in the car is always on Comfort, but if I'm by myself is Sport all the way.

Mostly on Auto around town, Sport on the highway. Comfort on more bumpy road and when I want to feel like floating...

Yes, I agree! I looked in the manual but wanted more info!

Do you feel any change in the steering or is that my imagination?

Chicky,

I'm certainly not technical, but I don't think there is any steering change. I think what you are feeling through the steering response is the difference in the suspension setups and how that translates between the road and the steering wheel.

Again, this is coming from someone that technically speaking, has absolutely no idea what he is talking about.

This is kind of what I was thinking....not a change in the steering per se, but a different feeling due to the suspension change. I just didn't want to be the first one to say it...

I agree. I think the system affects only suspension height/firmness and transmission shift points. I use sport mode when driving solo and the normal setting in family truckster mode. Curious though, since the suspension lowers at highway speeds does this in effect place the vehicle into sport mode?
