Hey all, I just picked up a white on black GL550 today. Options are door sills, dvd package, ipod, and keyless go. Got a great deal since I have a friend thats a salesperson, msrp 82 and change and got it for the low 76s. I know a lot you probaby arent into big wheels but I think I will end up getting some if anyone has any recommendations that would be great. Looking forward to talking with all you fellow GL owners.

Congrats and welcome to the GL forum CL65!
You've got a great friend. That price is fantastic! Be sure to treat him/her to one heck of a dinner at the nicest restaurant you can find.

Thanks everyone for the kind words! Yeah I know I owe my salesperson a lot haha
I will take some pictures today of it. I did see a few pictures of 22s on a GL in this forum, but honestly for that kind of money I would want to go more than just one inch bigger than the 550 amg wheels. So I am going to explore my options at my local shop to see what they recommend. Id like to go 23" but we will see.

I might just be dumb but is there a place to put the key in to start the car instead of using the keyless go? I only ask because if i ever valet or when i do go to the car wash on my E55 and CL65 i would just give the guys my key so they couldnt get into the glove box and they for some reason cant understand how to use the keyless go feature.
