Scotty's got it.

Many of the lines in Blazing Saddles were lifted from classic westerns like "Treasure".

And aside from Mel Brooks himself, a principal writer of BS was Richard Pryor!... who didnt get the role of "Sheriff Bart" because Mel couldnt get production financing from conservative bankers if Pryor was the lead.

My opinion on going badgeless mostly depends on how well I know a car model's lineup. I mostly see debadged entry level models so I often think it's someone trying to pass their car as higher end model. But occassionally I'll spot something like a debadged m5 with the telltale quad exhaust and think, evil! Debadged e55 wagons are the real trouble makers : )

The only vehicles that I really think need debadging are the Toyota or Honda minivans BMW, Mercedes and Land Rover dealers use for their shuttle vans.
