Programming radio presets

Can anyone shed light on how to set radio presets.. I've been unwilling to go to owner's manual for answer.. After 3 months of ownership haven't gotten radio presets set yet.. Guess Sat radio has been enough...

Tune the station you want, decide what location you want that station, and press and hold that button until it beeps. Ta-da! Set!

It is really easy. find the sation you want (use the scan hard key) and press a number 1-0 on the numeric keypad. Keep it pressed until you hear the beep. You can do this in fm, am and sat. Gives you total of 30 presets I believe.
