DH was concerned about the GL pulling the trailer in the sand - no campground here, just GPS coordinates to find his family!
Wow Great stuff. I pulled my trailer in the wet on shavings and sand at the football games (stanford tailgating) and have since then on the sand at Pismo Beach. Maybe different sand, as it was pretty firm, but the all wheel is really all wheel. With the lift in the 30MPH setting you have a lot of clearence assuming your trailer also has the clearence.

I'm sure the GL would have done an exceptional job, as it did in the 3" of snow we had it in recently, but the F150 already has a trailer hitch so we saved the $$ from having it installed on the GL. I'm so not a camper, so the trailer pulling shouldn't be a frequent event

Merry Christmas to everyone. For all those who travel, please be extra extra careful. I wll be "sin servicio del telephono" for a week. No internet, no cell phones, therefore no daily uploading of the catch of the day. Leave nothing but bubbles, take nothing but photos.

Happy Holidays. A quick note to all of us. The next time you are fiddling with the navigation, changing a CD, yelling at the kids in the back to keep it down, or whatever else distracts you from the view out the front window-even a brief moment of lack of concentration can be deadly. I am not trying to bring anyone down, but I learned a valuable lesson recently with a car loaded with kids and a close call with a deer-no major injuries but an excellent reminder to me to keep my head in the game. It is so easy in our luxurious vehicles to become lax. Be well and safe in the New Year.

Merry Christmas everybody. It's the early morning hours of Christmas morning, and I guess I'm the only insane one viewing this forum right now. I just finished wrapping the last presents, and out of curiosity, I decided to log in and see who might be on. Surprise....nobody!

Anyway, here's hoping Santa is good to everyone, and that you all have a wonderful Christmas today. Remember, diets begin on Wednesday, or is that a week from Wednesday after New Year? I guess you're right, the latter works for me too.

They're coming NJ. This weekend should provide me with the opportunity to clean her up and get some pics.
