I just went out to put the blanket where you put it and there is a solid panel next to the first aid kit slot? What could be different about the GL550 that it needs that spot for something behind the solid plastic piece?

E320 & GL450
I don't have it either on my 08 450. Could it be for rear cooling as I have P2 which includes rear cooling and is standard on the 550?

I got my e55 off the show room from Mercedes-Benz of Albuquerque
and my sl65 from Laguna Niguel and have not seen anything from mbusa or the dealers. Guess I need to buy more for them to show me some respect. Maybe bmw will take better care of me.

I recieved the blanket today too. I received the gift card to Saks shortly after I purchased my E350. They were both pleasant surprises. Not sure where I'll put my blankie, though.

I bet my wife received it and is going to give it to me as a Christmas present. She learned that trick from me when I received my 5 and 10 year longevity awards from my company and gave it to her as a Christmas gift.
