I dont remember the cost off the top of my head but it was in the neighbor hood of $3000. That was for the V1, custom labor, and the blinder laser diffusers. www.blinder.dk I dont think I would have changed any thing the guys did a great job and I am very happy.

I just got my GL back today and coincidentally had some Blindrs installed as well. I will FINALLY take some pics tomorrow and will include the radar and blinder pics. Here's what I did.

Radar - K40 Calibre - front and rear - stealth install (inside bumpers) with LED lights installed inside the instrument cluster. Came out awesome.

Laser Jammer - Blinder 45 Extreme - put 4 head units in the front grill and two head units in the rear, mounted just above the license plate (because of the rear mount I needed to disable the license plate light and install a "new" LED style light strip to illuminate the rear plate---came out great). The jammer leds are installed in the driver's side door trim.

Can't comment on much yet beside the install, which a local pro shop did that I use and they are awesome. They work on high end stuff all the time. I did a lot of research on this stuff though and I know that this was the combination for me. You still have to be careful when driving. Try to never "lead" the pack, whenever possible.

For those who did the V1, you can't go wrong with the Valentine, it's top notch. When using dash mounted units though, be careful the unit isn't obstructed or behind any coating on the windshield.

The Valentine One is the best at detecting radar and laser.

If you want the best laser jammer, get the Laser Interceptor, AL, or LPP.

In the test above they test they M40, not the M45. At one point, the last "unofficial" test, they test the M20, which makes no sense at all since I thought they were suppose to be testing the M45 (there is a huge difference between the two because of the number of head units). No doubt that the Laser Interceptor is a good product but I would like to see a test including the latest generation Blinder, the M45.

The Blinder M45 has been tested and it doesn't work well at all. All of the videos are on youtube.com.

Check out how often the Blinder M45 gets punch throughs from far away.

All of the videos of the testing are available if you check out every link I have listed below.

In two instance I've gotten a ticket and a warning because I was playing with the phone at the time and thought the warning was a phone ring. It approaches technology overload.

I'm not sure what you're referring to exactly. If you watch the very first link that you've posted, the laser gun IS clearly getting jammed. The first car, it doesn't get a reading at all. The second car, it doesn't get a reading until the car is right on top of the radar, meaning the punch is only several feet (which is fantastic), it either gets nothing, or a false reading, until it finally reads 30. This is all in the first video link you've posted. Lastly, it doesn't say how many head units they have in the front of the vehicle - have they put 2 up front and 2 in back or are all 4 up front, and where and how are they installed (unobstructed, in the grill, over the license plate, etc.), that makes a HUGE difference.

From what I've read and researched, most of these jammers, even if installed perfectly, they will eventually punch through at some point, especially on larger vehicles and those with more "bright spots", chrome, etc. But as soon as the laser gun is shot, the Blinder will start alerting you and then you can slow down to the proper speed limit and all will be good. It isn't meant so you can continue to speed right past the radar guns. So as long as it protects you enough to give you proper warning at a decent distance away, all should be good.

With the help of a friend in law enforcement, I have now had the opportunity to personally test my setup and it is absolutely flawless. Almost zero punch-through on every run on long straight aways. That was obvioulsy on a single mfr. radar gun. So I'm very happy.

The jammers you mentioned I am sure are excellent. Most important thing in my experience so far is to have "extra" heads installed, have them properly placed and unobstructed, and be ready to slow down if your alert goes off!
