2008 GL320 Owners with 19" Wheel Package
What all season tires (manufacturer & type) are coming with the 19" wheel package (includes front & rear skid plates, black crossbars)?

GL450 (Alabaster White/Black Interior)
Most likely you will get Continental tires (at least that what I got with mine). They are the Contact model and the size is 275/55R19 if a remember right.

The Perelli Scorpion 19's on my 07 CDI were wearing improperly by 10k miles, and the mfgr will NOT do anything...sounds LOUD AS H$LL.

GL320 CDI, SL550
I have an 08 GL320 CDI with the appearance package which includes the 19'' Continentials. I have 7000 miles on the car and the whole time the car has been pulling hard to the right (not a drift but a pull). It has been in the shop 13 days total while they try to fix the issue.
The reason I bring this up is the 'line' service is giving me on the pulling issue is the 19'' Conti's follow the crown on the road more than the other manufacturers tires do, so cars with the Contis tend to pull much more than other tires.
I'd try to get yours without the Contis and with another brand if possible...

I just picked up a 320 with 19" pkg about 2 weeks ago and it came with the Pirelli Scorpions. So far all is ok but we have only driven it about 50 miles. Hope there will be no issues. Regardless the 19" pkg looks very good on the GL -- both the wheels and skidplates. We also do lot's of skiing and bike riding so the roof rack is a great addition.

You should know the rules; when you buy a really cool car (like a 320 with 19" wheels on it) you're required by law to post pictures. Well, okay, not required, but we're a bunch of voyeristic GL photo junkies. So, please! Post pictures!

I can second that. I have the 19 inch Continentals and have experienced no pulling issues. One finger on the wheel and straight ahead.
