Tuningbox for GL 320 CDI

Hello guys,

I just bought a 2008 GL 320 CDI and wanted a little more power. Does anyone have experience with performance upgrades with this car?

Anybody have the Brabus?

Or the Tuningbox?

You understand this kills the warranty on your motor?

GL 320 CDI
They told me it removable. No splicing so you just remove it before you go in to service.

check it out

tuningbox.com i think

Depends.
I'm going to tune mine with the one Kleemann makes, it's a tuning box not a chip.
You connect it in the engine bay, and it's located after the ECU altering the signals from the ECU not the ECU.
It even comes with a reseting device, so that your MB dealer won't be able to see that you ever had it in, of you remove it prior to getting the car serviced.

Actually after you mentioned the Kleeman, I looked it up, might be a better idea to use it. My local MB dealer is also a Kleeman dealer. A little les HP than the tuning box, but they probably will support it if they sell it.

How much do you gain? According to kleeman I stand to gain (up to) 100 bhp and 200 newt. on my 420 cdi

I imagine it'd be considerably less on the 320, especially as you're moving from a V8 to a V6!

I know I was thinking relative, I'm getting around 25% more power
