Then what do you use the door pockets for? I put chasers in there usually.

I thought I was the only one who had tried it, but a Stella Artois will fit in each of the cupholder-shaped detents in the side pockets. The the bottle of Whisky fits nicely in the rear cupholder and a good highball glass in the front. The kids can keep a small pitcher of purified water in the center arm rest cup holder, for those who prefer. I haven't figured out what to put in the other two rear cupholders yet. Maybe something for the kids?

Ice.

Kids can use the cup holders in their car seats.

European cup holders are the same as the US ones now.

European cup holders are not anymore like the nice ones on the picture. Only the first units of 07 had the cup holder like that. After that they are, unfortunatly, like the ones on the american models.

European GLs are more expensive then USA GLs

European GLs are between 50% to 100% more expensive then the American ones due to heavy taxation.

I am mult-engine instrument rated (Flight Safety), but have not been flying much recently, except in the back of a King Air for business. I am hoping that the Cirrus Jet will go into production right around the time my kids leave for college so I can get my head back into private aviation.

We need an aviation forum!

A friend of mine has a King Air 350, nice plane. One of my pilots came from commercial flying the ERJ and is amazed with even the Cirrus SR-22; the avionics are unbelievable. Hope you get back to GA soon; getting into it is the best thing I ever did.

The 350 is a great workhorse. I buy block time in a BA200 as I do not need all the extra seats that the 350 has to offer. I miss flying but unlike some of my other vocations (golf, skiing), it does not lend itself to only partial dedication. When I am truly ready to commit myself to getting current, I will jump back in.

Regarding the dedication, WOW, are you ever right. I cannot believe how rusty I get if I let more than 5 days go by between flights. Wish I had time to get more flying in.
